I'm back in D.C. after a wonderful long weekend and I've got to tell you - if there's a soundtrack better suited for driving the September roads between western Pennsylvania and Washington, I haven't heard it. I picked up Ray LaMontagne's latest on Friday morning and listened to it the whole way home. Critics are raving, too - Bill Brotherton at the Boston Herald praised LaMontagne's "raspy miracle of a voice" (yum), and according to the Huffington Post, "There's not a weak track in the bag."
